Price: $8

Example pages from Faux Porcelain Tutorial

This tutorial explains how to make the focal polymer clay pendant for the necklace, as well as the necklace ends, and how to put it all together into a multi-string necklace with seed beads and fresh-water pearls. The resulting necklace is very delicate and romantic, perfect for any time of the year.

This is a nice project for a beginner. Every step is explained in a great detail, with lots of pictures, and additional links to free on-line instructions for more information. The whole project is rather simple, and does not require any previous experience with polymer clay. List of tools and materials is also short and simple. You do not even need a pasta machine to do it!

Because I wanted to include so many pictures in this tutorial (more than 40 of them), I had to change my usual format. The pictures are numbered and placed at the top of each page for a quick and convenient reference. The instructions are below the pictures, broken into easy-to follow sections. The whole tutorial is 12 pages long.

Pre-requisites: No previous experience with polymer clay is necessary.
